Be the hero of your own journey
The word para comes from the Latin, parare, which means to defend, shield. It means something that protects or wards off. Yet this airbourne team, a “chalk” of paras, have nothing obvious that connects them together, except they are all adventurers in the real world and the virtual, as professional wing flyers and gamers.
That, and they each received a mysterious invitation from someone who calls themselves “The inventor”, to take part in this tournament. Or at least… at first, so it seems.

A leading environmentalist, measuring the speed of climate change with new technology, who has recently noticed its trajectory unnaturally speeding up. A surfer. And all round zen figure. With a healthy fear of heights.

A kid who plays too many video games with a gift for hand eye co-ordination, a photographic memory and nimble at learning new kit. Adopted when he was very young and living a happy life in city.

Not just your typical teenager. Obsessed with martial art movies. Precision, balance and ballet are her strengths. Daughter of a world renowned mathematician.
